What's up, it's @hackedongrowth  here, We Humans tend to delay because our minds want to stay calm. Sometimes it's hard to get started, or we have a hard time concentrating, and we end up putting off unpleasant or difficult work for as long as possible.

Procrastination, on the other hand, produces worry and adds tension, especially if we are in a rush when we are moving around to complete the task.

If you're in a rush to meet deadlines or do a poor job, your tendency to delay won't serve you well.  Successful people, like the rest of us, have days of moving around and avoiding work.

However, they found ways to overcome their lack of momentum and start the movement.

1. Keep your to-do lists more specific.

When making her daily to-do list, follow the 1-3-5 rule.

Set nine goals for yourself on any given day:

• one large-scale project to complete

• three medium-sized jobs

• five minor details

Reduce your to-do list to only those items.

This saves you from becoming overwhelmed by an ever-expanding list, and it also helps you focus on just those items.

2. In two minutes, you can form positive behaviors.

The "two-minute rule" has two parts.

First, if something takes less than two minutes, do it now. Then start building new habits for two minutes at a time.

The rule is this: When you start a new habit, it should take less than two minutes. The idea is to make your habits as easy to start as possible. Think of these "two-minute habits" as passing habits that will lead you to your overall goal.

3. Finish things in bunches.

It takes time to get into a routine when working on a task. Instead of beginning and stopping that procedure all the time, it's best to maintain your rhythm running by grouping related jobs together.

This way, you avoid distractions and keep yourself from procrastinating.

4. End by thinking back to the start

Instead of quitting a random activity, be sure to stop it somewhere that prompts you to start over the next time you're ready to resume.

  •  Before you finish the day's work, enter any open-ended questions you are currently working on. Ask yourself the question: if you were to keep working, what would be the next thing you would do?
  • Write these questions and the next thing you would do on a piece of paper.
  • Determine what you will do first when you sit down to work. This gives you an immediate starting point for the next day.

5. Accepting procrastination

It produces fake pressure, which prepares you to deal with real-world pressure later in your work. Procrastinators must learn to prioritize their tasks.

There's no time to forget or re-study anything since you're doing everything at the last minute. Because your knowledge is current and the pressure is on, you'll finish the assignment faster than you would have if you'd done it earlier.
